Clinical Outcomes in
Parkinson’s Disease

Research supports the use of L. plantarum PS128™ in people with Parkinson’s

Neuralli® MP’s active ingredient, L. plantarum PS128™, is a probiotic strain like no other and is exclusive to Bened Life products in the U.S..

In a 12-week, open-label, baseline-controlled pilot study, patients with Parkinson’s disease who took Neuralli® MP’s PS128™ alongside their standard-of-care therapies reported significant improvements in both motor symptoms and quality of life.7

How PS128™ works in PD

Nutrients, including micronutrients like essential vitamins, minerals and amino acids support and regulate many biochemical processes in the body, often acting as important cofactors. Microbes can also act as microbe-nutrients, as dietary intake of microbes may regulate immune signaling, metabolism and brain activity including dopamine levels for example.

Possible mechanisms of action of PS128 in Parkinson’s disease are suggested by preclinical models.

What Patients and Caregivers Are Saying

Thank you Bened Life!

I have Parkinson’s and am using Neuralli MP for 8 months now. The benefits for me are less rigidity, more energy, my [low mood] (PD makes you feel ‘indifferent’ and gloomy) is literally gone. My on/off periods from PD meds are easier to manage. Enough to keep using Neuralli MP and reaping the benefits! Thank you Bened Life!

—Jolanda D.

It helps

Helps with my PD....I can tell if I do not take it.

Neuralli for Parkinson's

Neuralli has really helped my husbands Parkinson's symptoms. So much so, 6 of his friends with Parkinson's are now taking it. Highly recommend.

It helped me with off times from Parkinson

Great combined with exercise

I have been taking this for about six weeks. If I don't exercise, there is a slight improvement, but not much, from the Neuralli MP (it helps with constipation!). But with regular exercise, especially intense cardio, the improvement is tremendous--a big increase in energy, a good mood, and fewer problems with a freezing gait. Exercise, by itself, doesn't accomplish this. And Neuralli MP by itself doesn't achieve this. But putting the two together makes a big difference for me!

Clinical Outcomes in Autism

Research supports the use of L. plantarum PS128™ in Autistic people

Neuralli® MP’s active ingredient, L. plantarum PS128™, is a probiotic strain like no other and is exclusive to Bened Life products in the U.S.

Three RCTs suggest the PS128™ probiotic strain may reduce anxiety and anxiety-like behaviors in Autistic people.1-3 In a real-world study using PS128™ or other probiotics in Autistic people, clinicians reported meaningful improvements in attention, communication and personal autonomy.4

How PS128™ may help reduce anxiety in Autistic people

Autism is often associated with higher anxiety, as well as altered brain neurotransmitters, altered immune signaling, and altered metabolism. As a microbe-nutrient in the diet, PS128 may regulate immune signaling and act on the gut-brain axis to support neurotransmitters and reduce anxiety in Autistic people.

Possible mechanisms of action of PS128 in autism are suggested by preclinical models.5,6

Fig 3.

Preclinical models suggest that PS128 may do the following:

  1. Support dopamine and serotonin in the prefrontal cortex5
  2. Reduce inflammatory cytokines such as IL-65
  3. Reduce cortisol in stressed conditions5
  4. Support gut microbiota, such as increasing Bifidobacteria, which correlated with improved behavior6

What Patients and Caregivers Are Saying

Helped My Autistic 6-year-old son

My son has been taking this product for 7 months and its helped him be calm and more at ease in his body. He has to work so hard to adapt even with accommodations, and this probiotic has lighten that load for him significantly.

—Lauren L.

Great product

I started giving this product to my 28 year old autistic son in February and it's really helped his anxiety.

Kelly L.

Expanded Interests

I am so glad I tried this with my son (9 yrs old). He is able to participate in more daily family activities, versus hyperfocusing on having as much video game time as possible. He has been taking it for about 18 months, initially it improved his digestive symptoms. Now I attribute his willingness to engage more socially and try new things-even foods-to being on this probiotic.

Shana M.

Highly Recommend

My 5 year old, autistic son has been taking this for almost a year. When he started taking it, he was starting to experience extreme sensitivity to noise and withdrawing from social situation... I could see he really wanted to participate, but the overstimulation was too much for him. After about a month, I really started to see thing improve and a year later he virtually has no notable noise sensitivities. He's engaging in his preschool class, singing in a church choir. I think this is one of the main supplements I would recommend if your child has similar challenges.

—Jeanah L.

Makes a significant difference in ASD symptoms

I'm very satisfied with Neuralli. It has helped my daughter with ASD in meaningful ways. Her anxiety is much easier for her to handle. Focus and attention have improved as well. The anxiety that she was experiencing just trying to go food shopping was heartbreaking. Now she not only comes with me, she pushes the cart and helps me remember what to buy. I will be a lifetime customer!

What is Neuralli® MP?

As a provider, you’ve likely worked with probiotics for years – you know they’re live microorganisms that provide health benefits when taken in adequate doses. Traditionally, most research focused on gastrointestinal effects, but in recent years, we’ve begun to understand that certain strains influence systems beyond the gut.

We now recognize that even closely related strains, like those within the species Lactiplantibacillus plantarum, can behave very differently. That’s why today’s research emphasizes strain-level identification: the function of a probiotic depends on its unique characteristics, not just its species.

Neuralli® MP’s active ingredient, L. plantarum PS128™, stands out for the diverse mechanisms through which it acts. Because PS128™ has neurological benefits, it belongs to a specialized class of probiotics called “psychobiotics,” which have been studied for their influence on the gut-brain axis.

So, what makes Neuralli® MP a medical food, not a supplement? It’s a unique category. Medical foods are formulated to be consumed under physician supervision for the specific dietary management of a disease or condition with distinct nutritional needs. Neuralli® MP meets this definition by addressing the unique nutritional requirements associated with autism and Parkinson’s disease.

Mechanistic preclinical research demonstrates the PS128™ strain helps regulate neurotransmitters, modulate immune responses, and beneficially shift gut microbiome metabolism. Together, these mechanisms support its role in managing neurological conditions—and open new possibilities for your patients.
